JOB TITLE: Oracle DBA
LOCATION: Birmingham, US-AL
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $85000 - $92000

DESCRIPTION:
Position Requirements:
BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
3+ years Oracle Database Administration in a UNIX Environment or 3 years
experience in a multi tier Oracle ERP application with 2 years Oracle
database
administration
A working knowledge of the UNIX operation system to include security,
scripting and utility functions preferred.

Responsibilities include :

1.	Installation and implementation of new applications and databases.
2.	Maintaining, monitoring and tuning both the Oracle databases and the
application tier components.
3.	Insure database integrity and recoverability.
4.	Implement and monitor database security controls.
5.	Research current trends, products, techniques and other disciplines
related to the enterprise environment and make recommendations as to their
viability.

MANDATORY EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science
