DESCRIPTION:
Buyer Opening

We have a $3.5B Manufacturing client in the Bham, AL area who is searching
for
a Sr. Buyer.  The Buyer will purchase raw materials and supplies in
addition
to leading a team of up to 3 buyers for a specific product line.  This
positions focus is hands-on negotiations of materials and commodities,
mostly
metals and supplies, SAP re****ts/input, creating a streamline for getting
the
materials into process and some sourcing of metal products (most sourcing
is
done at cor****ate headquarters).  We will consider candidates with
Manufacturing purchasing experience and BS/BA degrees with purchasing
experience who are looking for a stable company and an op****tunity to
expand
their skills and career.  This company uses SAP software and any
experience
with SAP or similar systems is a plus.
