SQL DBA
Job Description The SQL DBA / Crystal Re****ts Developer will be
responsible for maintaining all of application databases. They will be
responsible for updating the software, tuning the databases. The SQL
DBA / Programmer position of re****t writer requires an individual that
can communicate, understand, translate, and deliver re****t requests
for a diverse user community. From a set of requirements, they will
create and maintain re****ts using SQL and/or Crystal Re****ts, as well
as work with the database to create stored procedures, functions and
views. Job requires interfacing with business owners, internal and
external groups to understand requirements and suggest solutions,
troubleshoot problems and sup****t business re****ting needs.
Responsibilities / Duties: =95 Install, maintain and monitor all SQL
databases. =95 Tune all SQL databases. =95 Plan for and execute upgrades
to the SQL database application and all hosted and integrated systems.
=95 Based on user requests and business needs the position will design,
build and deploy re****ts, executables and system integrations. =95 Work
with users to gather specifications for data and re****t requirements.
=95 Effectively translates end user re****ting requirements into
technical design do***ents. =95 Understand complete re****t writing
process. =95 Create, Maintain, Optimize and sup****t new and existing
complex re****ts. =95 Strong testing disciplines. =95 Systematically
identify and define problems, evaluate alternatives and implement
effective solutions. =95 Using knowledge of database relations, creates
design do***ents that can be used for efficient and accurate re****t
development =95 Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and/or
calculate information to fulfill data and re****ting requirements =95
Troubleshoot re****ting and re****t scheduling issues Job Qualifications
=95 Microsoft SQL certification or formal training. =95 Bachelor=92s
degree
in computer engineering or computer systems administration and/or 3-5
years of equivalent experience. =95 Experience managing SQL databases in
a cor****ate mission critical environment. =95 Experience in managing a
SQL database and hosted application for multiple sites and hundreds of
users. =95 Experience using Crystal Re****t Developer, Visual Basic and
other programming and interface tools deployed in a SQL database /
application environment. =95 Excellent analytical and troubleshooting
skills and ability to trace re****t performance issues to root cause. =95
Strong ability to gather and analyze re****ts requirements and
translate into technical solutions. =95 Excellent ability to read data
models and understands database table relation****ps. =95 Strong
knowledge of Crystal Re****ts and/or Business Objects Enterprise or
similar re****t running software =95 Ability to work in a fast paced,
constantly changing environment. =95 Able to meet or exceed project
deadlines.
