Software Engineer II
Overall Purpose of Job: As a Software Developer, you will be part of a
dynamic, talented and highly motivated team that developed the
Enterprise product line. We are enhancing the capabilities of our
Enterprise product line to provide, among other things, a more robust
deployment model.
Duties and Responsibilities: As a key member of the Enterprise
software development group, you will be responsible for designing and
implementing product installation and coordinating with developers to
come up with a deployment scheme that is consistent with all our
products.
Qualifications and Education:
Minimum Qualifications: =B7 5 years experience in software development.
=B7 2 years experience in software deployment in a multiplatform
environment. =B7 Proficiency with Java and preferably knowledge of,
JUnit, Ant, and Eclipse IDE. =B7 Experience in UNIX scripting languages
such as Perl, Python or Shell. =B7 Experience with software deployment
methodologies. =B7 Experience with build infrastructure integration. =B7
Experience with Perforce or any other source control tools. =B7 Thorough
technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and
implementation. =B7 Excellent analytical and design skills at multiple
product levels. =B7 Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: =B7 Experience with JDBC. =B7 Experience with
Microsoft Installers (MSI). =B7 Experience with Install****eld
Professional. =B7 Experience with Install****eld Multiplatform 5, 11.5,
InstallAnywhere or any other Java-based installation development
environments.
