Description: Java Programmer with minimum DoD Secret clearance at the
Alexandria site. This is at least a mid-level developer position, although
we will consider a senior developer. Java developer who is self-starting
and has good knowledge of JPEG files; knowledge of/skill with Artesia DAM
is also highly desired.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of motion media and still media
web-based delivery tools to include the ingestion of files into the
system, handling of files within the system, and the delivery of the
files via web technologies.
Integrate various COTS software products.
Part of a team working to build tightly integrated digital
imaging solutions for DVI. There are several aspects to the position
that will challenge the developer to create innovative and robust
solutions.
Analysis, design, testing and implementation of Java and J2EE
components within the application infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and sup****t Unix/Java/Oracle applications.
Analysis, design and development of Crystal Re****ts.

development life cycle, with minimum 3 years of hands-on Java design,
development and sup****t experience.
Senior-level: 8 years of experience in sup****t of applications
development life cycle, with minimum 5 years of hands-on development and
sup****t experience.
Ability to work with End Users and System Analysts to design
new features in Functional Specifications and to troubleshoot problems.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a fast learner with the ability to work both
independently and as a part of a team.
Desired skills:
Experience with digital image file manipulation. For example,
they can alter header information (XMP, IPTC, Exif, etc.) in JPG files.
Knowledge of motion file formats and how to work with them.
Knowledge of Artesia DAM and graphics file types, such as Corel
Draw, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
