Description: Data Architect
Seeking an experienced engineer with expertise in data management and
modeling in sup****t of application developers and end users on multiple
concurrent, diverse projects. The Data Architect Constructs and maintains
the data models (entity/relation****p, multi-dimensional, object-oriented)
that are used by the company’s products. And is responsible for the
translation of business and product requirements into a data architecture.
A total of seven or more years of software experience, with a minimum of 3
years applicable to Data Modeling and Architecture is required.
Required Experience and Skills:
• A diverse and extensive technical Database background, with considerable
experience in conceptual and physical database design, tools, and
applications. Expert knowledge of development tools and the complete
application development life cycle is also required.
• Experience developing PL/SQL backend packages, procedures, functions and
triggers in Oracle 9i or 10g environment.
• A Background with Java Object persistence technologies such as Hibernate
is required, along with the ability to design and code Java. (plus)
• Strong leader****p and organizational skills: experience in planning,
negotiation, decision making, problem analysis, and resolution.
• Database deployment and management in both UNIX/Linux and Windows
environments.
• The ability to work directly with developers to resolve data conflicts.
• Strong verbal and written communications abilities.
