Our vendors send us endless lists of data which get entered into our
system. We are looking for someone to troubleshoot, and work to repair,
any problems that may arise.
Understand/Learn Acquisitions production process.
Identify and take owner****p of production issue resolution
Strong Troubleshooting & Root cause analysis skills
Perform data analysis or analysis of process/system issues (leading
to/causing production issues)
Execute existing production process audits to verify production execution
Recommend/Build new audits as functionality changes via releases
Strong oral and written communication skills; Interpersonal skills
Recommend process improvements
Understand SDLC phases
Independent worker & very self motivated
Plus to have: vendor experience, financial industry/credit card experience
Technical Skill sets:
Experience using SQL/ PL-SQL, SQLServer and Oracle to identify and resolve
data quality issues
Understand database objects/structures and operations
build queries to retrieve data; understand how to write efficient/good
queries
2 to 3 years of Application Software development experience(using
programming language(s) & database(s))
Unix/NT Experience:
Maneuver through Unix and NT file systems
Locate and review data files, re****ts and logs
Understand and use/write/execute basic commands & scripts
Shell scripting
Run SQL jobs from these environments
