Description: CURE is a direct writer of Auto Insurance and is currently
looking for a PIP Supervisor to join our team.
Summary
Supervises, coordinates, and monitors the activities of the PIP unit to
ensure an accurate, quality product while maintaining high production and
performance standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance, guidance and training to all unit personnel.
Handle staffing, performance management, and administration of office
policies and procedures, while meeting goals established for your unit.
Manage expense control of vendors and provide direction on their usage.
Ensure compliance with both inter-company and statutory re****ting
requirements.
Work closely with the Special Investigation Unit, Underwriting Department,
and all other members of the Claims department to ensure that CURE achieves
optimum results on all files.
Evaluate the quality of work product through file reviews and provide
on-going direction to team members.
Audit procedures and controls to ensure compliance with company and
statutory requirements.
Insure that the unit has proper and correct amounts of equipment and
supplies to perform jobs effectively.
Write and present employee performance appraisals.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year claims supervisory experience.
Strong technical knowledge of the statutes and regulations governing
personal injury protection claims.
Ability to analyze coverages, liability and damages to successfully
investigate and reserve for the ultimate value of a loss.
Working practical knowledge of litigation from assignment through
discovery and trial.
Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary for the supervision, discipline, and
motivation of employees.
