Description:
Responsibilities for the Tax Manager include: Coordinating the tax
review of ****tfolio companies including U.S. partner****ps and cor****ations
Performing business in multiple states and foreign jurisdictions
including passive foreign investment companies and controlled foreign
cor****ations Overseeing and coordinating any client related tax
re****ting requirements (i.e. quarterly and yearly tax estimates, annual
K-1s for the fund investment vehicles) Ensuring all tax filings and
information for investors are completed and delivered in a timely and
efficient manner Monitoring compliance with tax filings Liaising
with external advisers to prepare local tax filings in the jurisdictions
that the funds invest in Reviewing and assisting in the resolution of
federal, state and local tax notices Managing and overseeing cor****ate
tax and VAT accounts provisions and tax/VAT compliance of fund, feeders,
holding and real estate companies Reviewing the tax aspects of the
underwriting for new and existing funds and deals, acquisitions and
disposals, internal financings and profit repatriations Working with
the acquisition team and advisers to assist the closing of transactions
Reviewing and liaising with the marketing team in respect to the taxation
of different investor types Working with the asset management team to
ensure the integrity of the fund and acquisition structures Acting as
the liaison with both external advisors and internal tax, outside
accountants, legal counsel and third party investors
Required Skills: 4-8 years of Big 4 or national public accounting
experiencePrevious private equity or real estate exposureStrong Microsoft
Office skills
