- Assist the surgeon and the surgical team in their tasks
- Scrub/circulate on orthopedic cases
- Supply of all of the surgical needs and keep inventory of all of the
various items that were used during the operation
- Tend to the health and care of the patient in the operating room
- Oversee the work organization within the operating room
- Mediate between the various hospital departments, the surgeons, and the
management
