Audio Tools Software Engineer
Looking for experienced SW engineers interested in developing software
for windows and mobile devices. Specifically, the position involves
developing tools sup****ting the audio functionality of chipsets.
Positions exist for motivated individuals interested in joining a
dynamic organization building the next generation of mobile phone
devices and sup****ting the existing mobile devices. Day to day
responsibilities may include: * Collaborating with customers and
engineers to design and implement PC-based audio solutions. * Working
with test engineers to determine the source of issues and resolve
them. * Designing, developing and maintenance of: - Windows and Linux
GUI and console applications. - Windows-based simulators using MS
DirectShow. - Embedded SW linked closely with the functionality of our
audio tools.
Skills/Experience College graduate in a technical discipline with
coursework in Operating Systems, Data Structures, Computer
Architectures, Compilers, and familiarity with the C and C++
programming languages with 0 to 5 years of industry programming
experience. Additional Skills C++ design patterns, ability to debug SW
and APIs, and familiarity with Directshow and MFC/WTL/.NET a plus.
Knowledge and experience in parsing of audio multimedia file formats
like MIDI, MP3, AAC, PCM, etc is a plus.
Education Requirements BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer
Engineering
