QA Analyst
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Working with the development
and business teams to clarify requirements; (2) Writing test cases
reflective of requirements; (3) Assisting in setting up testing
environments and testing labs; (4) Assisting quality assurance
leader****p in writing test plans; (5) Do***enting and updating the QA
testing process, test scripts, test results and related material; (6)
Working with developers and users to isolate and do***ent software
issues; (7) Providing meaningful feedback to QA management and team
mates; (8) Developing test cases for functional and regression
testing, executing test cases, and re****ting defects; (9) Recognizing
and re****ting issues before they adversely impact the testing schedule
and projects; (10) Participating in planning and facilitating User
Acceptance Testing as needed.
REQUIRED:
3 years of software quality assurance with specific CURRENT QA
experience in the investment industry (i.e. brokerage, trading,
financial exchange, etc.).
Experience working with defect tracking software.
Must have current and strong experience doing manual testing.
Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle AND SDLC (Software
Development Life Cycle).
Strong communication and communication skills. Must be a team player.
Ability to query database using SQL for verification purposes.
Pluses: Teamtrack Software; Familiarity with one or more high level
programming languages such as C, C++, VB etc.; Familiarity with
testing on Windows 2000 Server, Windows Server 2003, and/or Linux
based systems.
