Oracle Database Administrator DBA
** Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle and SQL Server
Databases. ** Design, test and implement Disaster Recovery, Backup and
Restore strategies, standards and scripts. ** Performance tuning of
custom application schema, provide security recommendations, and
storage management. Modify database structure to sup****t applications
and data growth. ** Monitor & Manage databases in both UNIX and
Windows NT/2000 server environments. ** Maintain and enforce cor****ate
database security policies and controls for all database environments.
** Implement and monitor Auditing and Management Controls for optimal
performance and availability of databases. (OEM & 10g Grid) **
Troubleshoot networks, systems and applications to resolve database
issues, assist developers, admins and applications sup****t staff in
diagnosing and resolving database-related application problems. **
Develop PL/SQL, T-SQL, SQL, and Shell scripts to optimally perform
procedures, functions and notifications as part of the day to day
management functions. ** Create primary objects (tables, views,
indices, keys), as required to sup****t the requirements defined by the
application sup****t functions and system developers. ** Provide
Quality Management System Procedures on DBA processes and controls
while adhering to cor****ate and industry compliance standards.
Qualifications
** 3+ years Oracle DBA in a production sup****t environment, including
1+ year sup****ting Oracle 10G
Desirable:
** 3+ years experience administering SQL Server databases. ** 3+ years
UNIX & Windows server environment. ** 3+ years experience with SQL and
Shell Scripting ** Experience working in a variety of business
domains.
