Quality Assurance Engineer
This position is responsible for developing and executing test cases
that ensure the quality of the Clarity products within the scope of
his/her training and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
=95 Set-up testing environments =95 Creates and executes test cases and
maintain associated test records =95 Utilize automated test scripts to
perform duties =95 Record issues into a defect-tracking system =95 Follow-
up and close issues entered into the defect-tracking system =95 Escalate
issues to a higher level where issue resolution is not achieved within
a reasonable amount of time =95 Provide information to technical
do***entation (i.e. Product Release Notes/Readme files) =95 Review
product do***entation (manuals/Getting Started guides) for technical
accuracy =95 Work with development team to understand assigned modules/
new product features for the purpose of developing test cases =95
Familiarize themselves with new technology, operating systems, etc in
order to maintain an awareness of technological advances =95 Perform
product testing according to test plans/procedures =95 Create and update
Quality Assurance issues in the defect-tracking system
Key Requirements:
=95 Bachelor=92s Degree in Computer Science or a related field =95
Typically=
has 1 to 2 years in related field =95 Must demonstrate excellent verbal,
written and interpersonal communication skills =95 Must be able to work
and be successful in a fast paced work environment =95 Ability to follow
and re****t exactly as described in test cases/procedures =95 Excellent
troubleshooting skills, computer operating system, appropriate
subsystems and test tool familiarity
