IT Web Designer
As part of a small close-knit design team, create page layout
wireframes, design mockups, icons and also email newsletter headers
images. Build functioning pages based on established design mockups,
using our custom page creation tool and associated CSS files. Handle
site maintenance using a CMS and any necessary general web production
work. Participate in user experience testing. Collaborate with and
contribute toward internal efforts to establish standards and best
practices for Web Design.
Requirements include minimum two years of professional Web Design
experience. In addition, we need strong Graphic Design skills with a
significantly developed sense of general design principles and a
particularly keen eye for detail in the ability to perceive visual
incongruities as well as harmonies. Technically, you need to have
application fluency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. You
need experience in creating page layout wireframes, site page mockups
and web graphics. You should have ability to hand code valid HTML and
CSS. Experience needed with CSS-based layout. Additionally, you need a
general understanding of how web sites work and their underlying
technologies.
