Database Administrator
All candidates must meet the following criteria:
* 4+ years in Systems/Hardware administration. * 2+ years SQL Server
Administration Experience. (SQL 2000 and/or 2005)
Preferred candidates would meet the following criteria:
* 1+ years of implementation experience with Hardware virtualization.
(VMWare a plus) * Previous experience with SAN planning and
administration. * Ability to leverage past experience to perform
vendor solution evaluations and implementations * Strong understanding
of industry best practices in system administration.
Sample Projects would include:
* Hardware Performance Monitoring and Tuning * Growth Planning and
Hardware recommendations * BCP Planning and implementation * Data
Center Migrations and consolidation * Hardware virtualization * SQL
Server Performance tuning and upgrades to 2005
Education:
* Bachelor's degree required. Demonstrated success at one of the
nation's top universities is a plus.
