Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Responsibilities include, but are
not limited to:
* Feature Planning -- Review and provide feedback on feature and
product requirements; participate in feature design reviews; ensure
feature and product implementations correspond to customer
requirements and specifications * Project Planning -- Participate in
creation of Master Test Plans that ensure a holistic testing
perspective and that account for all aspects of product quality; use
metrics as means of quantifying product quality and *****sing project/
product risk * Project Participation -- Write, maintain, review, and
execute test plans; investigate, log, track, and retest incidents;
write and maintain test automation that ensures thorough feature and/
or product testing; initiate and conduct test plan and code reviews *
Team Productivity -- Design and implement infrastructure and process
improvements that allow the project team to work more efficiently *
Team Development -- Mentor and train staff; participate in candidate
review and selection process
Qualifications:
* Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, information
systems, or related field * 3-5 or more years of direct experience in
software quality assurance, software testing, programming, software
development, technical sup****t, or other related experience in a
software development capacity * Thorough knowledge of software testing
practices including test planning and incident management *
Proficiency with a programming or scripting language, such as C++, C#,
VB.NET, ASP.NET, Java and JavaScript * Strong analytical and problem
solving skills and attention to detail * Strong communication skills
required, experience working with remote teams is a plus * Experience
with utilizing test automation tools to manage regression testing a
plus * Experience working in an Agile development process is a plus *
Experience with Visual Studio 2005 or an application server such as
IIS is a plus
