of the disease and lower healthcare costs. Animas Cor****ation is currently
recruiting for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer located in West Chester,
PA. The manufacturing engineer sup****ts the manufacturing process for
Animas products in day-to-day production sup****t, identifying and
implementing process improvements for the manufacturing and test
processes, sup****ting the consistent flow of components by resolving
technical issues with suppliers, and developing manufacturing and test
processes for new products in development This position will need to
understand and follow all policies and procedures applicable to the job
responsibility, complete necessary and ongoing training in order to
perform job duties and sup****t day-to-day production for Animas products.
This includes products manufactured internally and externally. Duties
include *****sing issues for root cause and determining appropriate
corrective actions; analyzing data to determine trends and op****tuntites
for improvement; validating any process or product changes as required;
training affected associates to ensure consistent levels of quality for
the operations. Sup****t Operations division by executing longer-term
process improvement projects utilizing PE methodology inculding DMAIIC and
LEAN roadmaps. Engage with component and assembly suppliers to address
technical issues causing inefficiencies, waste or potential supply chain
interruptions. Partner with design engineers, quality engineers and
suppliers to develop robust manufacturing processes for new products in
development. Duties includes leading a cross functional team to *****s
design for manufacturability, finalizing tooling and process requirements,
executing component and assembly qualifications and conducting technical
transfer to steady-state operations. Performs other related duties as
assigned by manager.
Qualifications
BS in an Engineering Discipline required, preferably Mechanical,
Electrical or Industrial and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in
one or more of the following is required: mechanical assembly,
electro-mechanical assembly, component manufacturing processes (plastics,
metals, printed circuit boards), equipment development and implementation,
manufacturing process development and implementation, assembly process
development and implementation, process validation. May serve as lead
engineer to organize, charter, plan and execute multiple projects of
increasing complexity. Depending on area of expertise, may become involved
