Description: The Business Process Engineer (BPE) is responsible for the
collection, analysis, do***entation and coordination of business system
requirements. Additionally, the BPE is responsible for the definition of
test requirements and the effective and timely execution of the test
plans.
The BPE communicates directly with stakeholders to ensure full, accurate,
and complete aspects of the business problem have been captured. Working
with other members of Information Technology, ensures a quality delivery
that adheres to the specifications. The BPE produces requirements
specifications for a variety of initiatives including new development,
enhancements and maintenance, and software acquisitions.
This position is 100% technical in nature as it relates to requirements
writing and testing plans and execution.
Work/Training Experience Requirements:
· 6+ years of business requirement writing experience
· 1+ year Quality Assurance testing experience
· Knowledge contem****ary requirements elicitation, analysis,
specification, verification, and management practices and the ability to
apply them in a team environment.
· Solid understanding of the System Development Life Cycle.
· Knowledge of current development tools and techniques.
· Knowledge of best practices and risk based testing techniques.
Desired Work/Training Experience:
· Mortgage Banking industry experience
· MISMO or other XML based data interchange standard
· Prior application or database development experience
Other Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Good time management skills to effectively meet multiple
objectives.
· Strong analytical thinking and process understanding.
