Engineering (VT&E) provides technical sup****t for in-line
biological and sterile pharmaceutical products including process
development and process improvement. VT&E is also responsible for
the technology transfer of new products into the manufacturing
environment. Positions are available in various departments, including
Viral Vaccine Technology and Engineering; Bio Sterile Validation;
Biologics Process Technology; Sterile Process Technology &
Engineering; and Recombinant Vaccine Technology & Engineering. The
Process Engineer / Senior Process Engineer will provide technical sup****t
to a licensed and/or new vaccine area, including resolution of process
deviations, maintenance of the batch records, analysis of process-derived
data to sup****t trouble-shooting and process optimizaiton, identification
and implementation of process improvements, sup****t for regulatory
inspections and submissions and implementation of process analytical
technologies. Limited off-****ft or weekend coverage may be required based
on project-specific assignments.
Qualifications In order to qualify for this op****tunity, you must possess
a BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, the biological sciences or a related
discipline with a solid academic record and/or relevant work experience.
Strong teamwork, communication and leader****p skills are desired.
Determination of appropriate grade level will be based on relevant skills
and work experience. Strong preference will be given to candidates
possessing previous cell culture, aseptic or purification experience.
