Synopsis: The candidate that fills this position will be responsible for
the development and implementation of operations processes that are
consistent with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
framework, best industry practices, and new tools that are being deployed
at the Customer location. The candidate must have process-engineering
experience encompassing at least one of the following disciplines:
Configuration Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem
Management, Capacity Management and Availability Management. The candidate
must also have demonstrated experience in process training and in process
deployment and followup. The scope of work for this position may also
include development and oversight of the following do***entation: Process
Implementation Plan, System Transition Plan, Process Guides, Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs). The position requires experience and
knowledge in technical leader****p, process development, and customer
interfacing. The candidate should be able to integrate and manage all
aspects of the project, taking initiative to resolve conflicts where
necessary and ensuring that deliverables are produced in a timely manner.
This position may involve significant interaction with Government
customers, entailing extended work hours during critical deliveries.
Successful candidates will have: Previous experience on process
development and process roll-out. Strong interpersonal skills and oral and
written communication skills; Excellent negotiation and facilitation
skills; Strong project management and organizational skills; Ability to
work across organizations to develop a clear plan for implementation of
new processes. Required Skills: TS/SCI with active, full-scope polygraph
examination; ITIL Foundation Certification; 7+ years of team-management
experience with process-development knowledge; B.A. or B.S degree in a
technical discipline (e.g., engineering, mathematics, etc.). Desired
Skills: Previous project-management and/or operations experience in an
IT-related field; Strong knowledge of ITIL framework; ITIL Practitioner
Certification
