our Pearl River, New York facility. (Relocation an option for non local
candidate) Primary Responsibilities Include: * Design Digital Hardware
Cards * Design FPGAs * Generate High Level Designs * Generate Detailed
Designs * Generate and Track Project Schedules * Generate Schematics *
Generate Bill of Material * Simulate Designs * Test Hardware, Integration
and Validation * Be a team member or a team lead * Interface with other
departments (e.g., Software and Physical Design groups) Additional
Responsibilities: * Sup****t existing products * Participate in Cost
Reduction Programs * Contribute to Continuous Hardware Improvement Process
Qualifications Experience Required: * Design Knowledge of Telecom and
Datacom products (e.g., DS1, DS3, Ethernet) * Familiarity with SONET
architecture Desired * Board Level Design Experience * FPGA Design
Experience * Simulation and Test Experience * Product introduction to
product release experience (including factory interface) * BSEE or MSEE
with field of study in Electrical Engineering * Minimum 7 years experience
that should include Hardware Design and Test, preferably in the
Telecom/Datacom field
