Experience:
*5+ years related Power Plant Design experience.
Skills:
Desired
*CFD experience.
*GB DFSS certified
*Gas Turbine accessory design experience.
*Advanced Engineering degree.
*Ability to bring together multiple components and systems and describe
their function.
*Team player that is detail orientated and a self-starter with
demonstrated skills.
*Customer satisfaction mindset that is quality driven.
*Proactive attitude towards business initiatives such as quality/process
continuous improvement and product cost reduction.
*Familiarity with Building Codes, ASME, CE, and their application relative
to structural steel design.
*Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and AutoCAD
software
Responsibilities:
*Responsible for the design and analysis of Gas Turbine accessory
equipment and systems ensuring compliance to project requirements in
applicable country, based on local building codes.
*Initiate design improvements, reducing manufacturing cycle and overall
product cost.
*Provide technical resolution to non-conformance issues generated by
manufacturing and field services.
*Design equipment to meet project specific acoustic requirements for gas
turbine power plant.
*Knowledge of structural sup****t systems and codes such as AISC to sup****t
mechanical equipment design.
*Ensure the on time completion of all assigned, scheduled, or unscheduled
design activities.
*Utilize Six Sigma Quality tools as appropriate to achieve balanced
designs.
*Provide Engineering sup****t to the Customer, Applications Engineering,
Project Management, Global Resources, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and other
Engineering teams as required.
