Description: Primary responsibility is to mechanically design custom
machinery from initial concept to prototypes and final completion while
abiding by the proposed concept, customer specifications, time line and
within an established budget. Also will be responsible to spec out
mechanical components (air cylinders, motors, gearboxes, sensors), develop
accurate layout drawings from scratch, take out part numbers and detail
parts with proper tolerances understanding how parts are manufactured and
fabricated.
Mechanical Engineering degree is a must. High proficiency with AutoDesk
Inventor preferred or another 3D modeling programs and 2D for machine
layouts.
