opening for a Chief Software Engineer.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Scope: Responsible for performing software analysis and
testing in a specific area of business. Determines system specifications,
input/output processes, and working parameters to meet business
requirements and hardware/software compatibility. Is responsible for
designing, defining and implementating system requirements for complex
customer systems. Works on extremely complex problems. Prepares studies
and analyzes existing systems. Provides strategic technical direction.
Oversees the preparation, presentation and follow-up of major projects.
May manage the efforts of large teams of multidisciplinary personnel to
ensure system performance requirements are met. Establishes operational
objectives and assignments and may delegate assignments to subordinate
staff. Establishes and recommends changes to policies or processes that
affect organization. Coordinates the activities of a section or
department. May be responsible for the technical direction, leader****p,
and training of less experienced staff. Acts independently to determine
methods and procedures to be used on new assignments. Regularly interacts
with senior or executive management on matters concerning several
functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Bachelors degree in related field and 12+ years
of related experience. At least 7 years must be specialized. Advanced
degree in related technical field desired.
