Description: This position is responsible for Implementing manufacturing
practices and procedures to ensure the manufacture of quality products in a
low cost effective manner. To develop and Implement test fixtures for use
in new product launches and maintain existing fixtures. Must be capable of
selecting and managing outside engineering services for fixture development
beyond in house capability. Must be comfortable working with other
engineering disciplines Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Optical
experience a plus.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree Electrical, Mechanical Engineering with related work
experience.
7+ years working in a medium level production volume facility. Experience
working in electrical mechanical assembly would be preferred.
Write and maintain manufacturing operational procedures and test step
processes.
Identify and trouble shoot electrical/ mechanical components to provide
analysis to quality dept.
Interface with cell leads on a daily basis providing sup****t and technical
direction
Implement lean manufacturing methods with continuous improvements
