Description: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for writing and
implementing protocols for the installation, qualification and validation
of production and laboratory equipment, as well as protocols to validate
products.
Writes SOP’s and other do***ents related to equipment, including
operational procedures.
Provides input prior to purchase of equipment to ensure acceptability for
manufacturing.
Works with Production Manager and QA/QC Manager to continually evaluate
work procedures, manufacturing processes and quality systems, to design
and implement improvements wherever possible.
Investigates finished product out-of-specification issues to determine
corrective action.
Continually *****sing equipment capabilities relative to finished product
manufacture and specifications.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
May lead and direct the work of others.
