Software QA Engineer
Perform Software QA role. Develops, modifies, applies and maintains
standards for quality operating methods, processes, systems and
procedures. Develops overall operating criteria to ensure
implementation of the software quality program according to project,
process and contract requirements and objectives. Ensures that project
and process control do***entation are compliant with requirements,
objectives and/or contract. Develop and maintain tools using
programming, database or scripting languages to automate the software
build process. Duties include: perform requirements, design, code, unit
test & integration test peer reviews as inspector & moderator
(including evaluating software products to design & coding standards);
establish metrics for inspection & test defect data; review do***ents
against contract requirements; witness qualification testing; perform
process evaluations; write/tailor quality procedures; perform required
independent software builds; and sup****t tailoring of project's systems
engineering & software development processes.Experience in the
following areas is required: - 2 years with Bachelor's; 0 years with
Master's - BS/BA computer science, math, electrical engineering or
computer info science - Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills. - Exposure to SEI CMMI SQA/SCM activities and processes. -
Experience w/ s/w library control tools, requirements and defect
tracking tools, source control tools, etc. - ClearCase and ClearQuest
tool sets. - C++, VB script, Java or other HOL programming experience.
- Experience on integrated software and hardware development programs.
- Adept PC skills (MS office - Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
