Senior Biochemical Engineer
Seeking a strong research scientist for our Process Technology team.
Responsible for technical sup****t of protein manufacturing including
improvements in the areas of protein separations, lyophilization, and
controlled release protein formulations. Responsibilities also include
development of lab scale models of separations and formulations with
scale-up to pilot and manufacturing operations. The job involves a mix
of manufacturing troubleshooting, process improvements, and basic
research understanding separations and controlled release formulations.
The position involves collaboration with other process scientists in
cor****ate engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing.
Required Skills:
A PhD degree in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or
equivalent education and work experience is required. Experience with
process separations and familiarity with protein biochemistry and
protein separations is desired. Experience with the sciences of
powders, gels, and solid suspensions is a plus. Looking for a solid
experimental scientist, a creative innovative problem solver, with
initiative, strong communication skills, and excellent interpersonal
skills.
