Job Summary:
* Managing the day to day operations of the MySQL DB?s * Setting up
and maintaining monitors for the system's health check * Replication,
backup, recovery and optimization of MySQL DB?s
Essential Functions:
* Proficient in MySQL database administration * Knowledge of the MySQL
database environment versions 5 * Proficient with database performance
strategies * Proficient tuning MySQL processes and queries *
Understanding of DB replication, backup, recovery, and optimization
techniques * Understanding of how high volume can affect database
availability and table design * Understanding of Linux systems
administration * Strong communication skills and a team player
Minimum Qualifications:
* 3 years experience working with MySQL * Problem solving skills and
good communication skills are essential, as well as strong
do***entation proficiency and attention to detail.
