Software Quality Assurance Analyst
This is a telecommunications software quality assurance position and
you will work with next generation VoIP equipment and protocols such
as SIP, MGCP, H.323, SCCP, and Megaco. You will be part of strong,
savvy and innovative Engineering team.
Verify software quality and functionality by performing tests and
reviewing software requirements. Work with software development team
leaders to determine appropriate level of testing based on the changes
implemented.
- Black box testing - Methodically test applications from the
customer's perspective.
- Software testing - Execute software tests for functional, stress,
reliability, and regression testing.
- White box testing - Perform white box tests covering unit, API, and
integration testing.
- Software debugging - Efficiently debug complex application systems.
Job Requirements
A minimum of 4 year professional experience with:
- Functional testing methodologies (black-box system tests)
- Linux, Windows OS
- C, C++, HTML, XML
- TCP/IP, SSH, SFTP, Telnet, FTP
- SQL Database
Basic Requirements:
- Bilingual is a minimum (French & English)
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Software Quality Assurance (SQA) process knowledge and software
maintenance.
- Time management - You prioritize work with your team leader to meet
goals and deadlines.
- Attention to detail - You approach work in a meticulous, thorough,
and detailed manner.
- Thoroughness - Conscientiously see tasks through to completion.
- Must be able to work full-time with flexible working hours
