Quality Assurance Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities for this
position include but are not limited to: Research, write and maintain
test strategies and plans Write, maintain and execute test cases
Execute smoke tests Execute automated tests, and re****t on results
Process defects accurately and timely utilizing our standard defect
tool. Provide clear and consistent communication with the team. Debug
and validate the test execution results.
Requirements: Independent QA Engineer with strong analytical skills.
Must possess experience with manual testing (position includes manual
testing), and problem solving techniques. Must possess experience in
researching, developing and maintaining Test strategies, plans, cases
and metrics. Knowledge of web-based/Internet applications Familiarity
with databases and SQL Experience with XML and XSL Familiarity with
both Linux and Windows operating systems Experience in API-level
testing Experience testing multi-tier web-based/Internet applications
Programming experience in scripting (preferably Perl) and/or object-
oriented languages Strong communication and do***entation skills
Focus, energy and enthusiasm for creating high-quality software
products. Proven success in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Candidate must be flexible, adaptable to changing priorities, and be
self-directed with the ability to work independently
