QA Lead/Senior Software QA Engineer
Job Description:
* Work with management to plan, schedule, execute and deliver high
quality software on time. * Write and execute QA Test plans, test
cases and test automation scripts, and deliver highest quality
software. Perform manual QA tests when needed. * Design and engineer
automation for software QA tests including functional and load tests
across wide range of technologies and products. * Write or customize
test harnesses with open source or commercial automation tools; design
and customize automation framework to suit the needs of a product and
technology. * Foster and develop good relation****p with product teams.
* Analyze, innovate, architect, design and develop software programs
for testing frameworks, technology components and end user
applications; Code and debug complex issues when required. * Mentor
testers and developers on automation. Work with Offshore QA teams to
provide QA leader****p.
Required Qualifications:
* 7+ Years experience * 3+ years of QA experience in test automation
including functional performance and load testing and at least 1 years
experience in software development. * Experience in designing and
developing test strategies and harnesses for enterprise class high
performance, high availability software systems. * Strong backgrounds
in test automation including commercial and open source test
automation tools and frameworks; hands-on experience in developing
open source based test automation frameworks is a plus. * Excellent
written and verbal communication and leader****p skills. * Experience
in one or more of the following: business intelligence, data
warehousing, analytics, visualization of complex data and charts. *
Hands-on development experience in Java. Experience in Junit,
HttpUnit, etc., is a plus. * Experience in scripting in either Perl,
or Shell scripts in UNIX environment. * Strong skills in XML schema
design, XML parsing and processing, XPATH and XSLT. * Experience in
open source technologies with broad skills in technologies such as
Apache, JSF, Struts/Shale, Tiles, AJAX, Velocity, Jakarta, ****tals,
Web Services, SOAP, REST, AXIS, Maven, Ant, Quartz, IBATIS, JBI/ESB,
JBoss Rules and Jboss/J2EE App Servers. * Skilled in scripting
languages such as Javascript, Perl, Ruby, and Linux/Unix Shell
scripting. * Strong platform skills in Linux/Unix. A Microsoft
platform skill is a plus. * U.S. citizen****p or permanent resident
status required
