SW QA Analyst
Responsibilities:
-Responsible primarily for testing integration projects utilizing Web
Services and Eclipse ALF technologies. -Work with Development staff,
management, marketing, customer sup****t and other areas of the company
to define and deliver quality products using various modern
technologies. -Analyze product requirements and design to determine
the best testing strategy and plan to deliver quality products within
the committed product delivery dates. -Influence product direction and
bring a QA perspective to all phases of the software development life
cycle. -Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test suites.
-Coach and provide leader****p for other QA engineers. Skills: -
Computer Science bachelor's degree at a minimum. -Minimum 5 years of
SW quality assurance experience testing commercial enterprise
software. -Experience testing Web Services, Web Applications and SSO. -
Working experience in 2 or more of these languages - Java, XML, HTML, C
++, Perl. -Working experience with SaaS, SOA and BPEL engines a
definite plus. -Expert knowledge in testing methodologies and
practices, including test coverage and type of testing. -Proficiency
in automation tools. Able to create, configure, and execute an
automation suite, determine what and how to automate. -Proficiency in
relational databases - ODBC drivers, Oracle, SQL Server. -Proficiency
in Windows and UNIX platforms. -Good understanding of business
workflows, practical usage of Software Change Management (SCM)
policies, procedures and practices. -Exposure to Agile methodologies. -
Excellent analytical and debugging skills. -Must be energetic,
professional, self-sufficient, highly self-reliant, and motivated to
go above and beyond. -Able to work on multiple projects concurrently
