We are located in suburban Chicago, IL and are currently going through an
exciting growth period. Because of this we need to expand our Market
Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI) and Statistical Analysis Groups. We
are looking to significantly impact our business by developing a
Statistical Center of Excellence to sup****t all of the business units. We
are also looking to build out the team with Statistical Analyst and
consultants.
Requirements:
In this role, you are expected to improve core Retail decisions across
Customer Management, Marketing, Assortment Planning, Supply Chain,
Pricing, Store Operations and eCommerce areas through the use of advanced
data mining, modeling and analytics.
You will be part of the Analytics Center of Excellence tasked with
infusing leading edge analytic tools and techniques to improve daily
decision making in Retail. You will partner cross-functional business
teams and be the champion of change in ensuring embraces state-of-the-art
analytic solutions. You will be expected to supervise a team of on-shore
and/or off-shore Analytic resource pool. You will have up to 14 Direct
re****ts. You will manage a ****tfolio of high impact projects end to end -
design to development to rollout. You will be fully accountable on the
outcome of analytics improvements implemented and committed to have
significant impact on the Retail financial performance.
Key Job Responsibilities
Identify, size and prioritize business op****tunities for improvement
through analytics.
Lead cross-functional teams and be the catalyst of change management.
Understand operational challenges, scope current state and baseline key
performance metrics.
Leverage state-of-the-art data mining tools and modeling techniques.
Design model, develop initial prototype solution hands-on approach is
a key success factor.
Project manage model development Data, Datamining, Modeling and
Scoring.
Supervise analyst resource pool working with off-shore partner.
Execute projects within aggressive timelines.
Groom on-shore analytics leader****p talent .
Set up Design of Experiments that allows to robustly test into a new
operating model.
Reengineer existing processes as necessary to incor****ate new and
improved analytic frameworks.
Set up on-going re****ting and tracking dashboards to continuously
monitor impact.
Ensure EBITDA goals assigned to key Analytics Initiative(s) is realized.
Keep abreast of analytics best practices from a wide range of
industries.
