Request Notes: Dense Wave Division Multiplexing DWDM Trouble Resolution is
responsible for technical sup****t of complex client UltrAvailable Networks
UVN, providing remote testing, fault isolation, trouble resolution and
analysis for UVN Networks, proactively assisting clients with maintenance
issues related to UVN Ring design, implementation, software migration, and
trouble related to life cycle network management. Specific knowledge
requirements include DWDM Multiplexing and SONET Trans****t, networking
technologies and protocols Ethernet Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, L2
and L3 Switching VLANs, ATM, Frame Relay, FR-ATM, service Interworking,
and SNMP, and hardware Cisco DWDM and ONS Gear 0 and 0, routers and
switchers. Experience required with installation and maintenance of
DWDM/SONET networks and direct customer interface. MSOffice and Visio
knowledge a plus. Candidate must desire to work in a fast-paced
environment, work well on a team, and must be detail oriented. Environment
is 24 x 7 operation. Possibility of ****ft work and weekends. Possibility of
