Description:   Network Management Operations Technician ( Tier 2 ) 

Description: Providing Tier 2 network operations sup****t for a complex
enterprise WAN and LAN network. 

Job Description: Candidate will supplement current staffing for a 24x7
operations team on a long-term contract. Candidate must be available to
work any ****ft on a rotating basis (quarterly).Description: Must have
experience with Cisco Routers and Switches. Serve as primary client
interface, responding to customer requests and proactively notifying
customers of problems and the impact on the customers business. Act on
customers behalf in handling problems and making decisions, i.e.,
understanding critical items and priorities. Monitor the ticket queue for
incoming tickets. Update tickets in accordance to Service Level Agreement
requirements and, if necessary, escalate based on severity levels. Monitor
customer devices. Troubleshoot and identify sources of problems. Resolve
basic configuration problems concerned with the service line being
sup****ted (server, LAN/WAN, voice, etc.) Manage circuit providers for
break/fixes (including collaborative troubleshooting and problem
resolution); verify fixes successful. Manage equipment and service vendors
for break/fixes (including dispatch, collaborative troubleshooting and
problem resolution); verify fixes successful.Coordinate referrals and
collaboratively troubleshoot with other operations groups. Request
assistance from subject matter experts when needed to speed problem
resolution. Resolves chronic problems. Primary client interface during
complex outages. Responsible for understanding and reviewing action plans
for planed and unplanned changes to clients network/infrastructure.
Required skills: WAN, LAN, and VoIP Cisco router and switch
troubleshooting. 3+ years of industry experience. College degree or
equivalent experience. 

Required Certifications: Certification One: CCNA

2) LAN Intermediate Required 
3) Cisco hardware Intermediate Required 
4) Telecomm Intermediate Required 
5) IP/TCP Intermediate Required

9) ATM/Frame-Relay Intermediate Required 
10) Firewall/Security Entry Level Desired
