Description: Director/Head of Clinical Trial Associates
In***bent will provide strategic leader****p, vision and direction for the
Clinical Trial Associates organization ensuring successful protocol level
execution of all Clinical Operations deliverables for all development
projects. Re****ting to the VP of Clinical Operations, you will be
accountable for design and implementation of strategic, operational and
people plans for the Clinical Trial Associates organization including long
range planning for the next 5-10 years to meet scalability and productivity
goals and be accountable for coaching and developing the Clinical Trial
Associates Management leader****p team by providing an environment that
encourages ongoing personal and professional development. Responsibilities
include: the further development of appropriate management depth and
succession candidates, including their own successor; manages the
performance of 6-8 Clinical Trial Associates Line Managers, who are each
responsible for the management of 6-8 Clinical Trial Associates (CTAs);
may also manage one or more Clinical Trial Associates Senior Managers, who
will be responsible for managing 6-8 Clinical Trial Associates Line
Managers; responsible for successful planning and deployment of relevant
staff to project and non-project related tasks; ensures that clinical
protocols are set up, executed and delivered in accordance with the
overall clinical development plans; ensures optimal Clinical Trial
Associates dual re****ting relation****ps are established and maintained
with relevant Clinical Program Managers and Clinical Trial Managers;
responsible for ensuring optimal relation****ps with key internal partner
and stakeholder groups to enable successful investigator and Trial Master
File do***ent management; responsible for increased productivity and
efficiency of the Clinical Trial Associates organization; responsible for
the Clinical Trial Associates organization budget planning and management;
participates in the creation of Clinical Operations strategy, goals and
objectives. Qualifications include: the ability to demonstrate strong,
dynamic leader****p; communicates with credibility and confidence; strives
for the achievement of excellence; displays a high level of commitment;
generates enthusiasm; effectively formulates strategies, tactics and
action plans to achieve results; a Bachelor degree (Master's preferred); a
minimum of 12 years Clinical Research experience; at least 8 years
experience of managing budgets, timelines and resources; and a broad
knowledge of pharmaceutical research and development.
