Software Development Engineer - New College Grads & Professionals with
3-6 years of experience!!!
The candidate will be responsible for the design, development and
sup****t of Network Management System product suite developed to
manage Fujitsu Network Elements. The product suite includes
Network Management Software, Network Planning and Design tool and
Network Element Simulation software. This position requires
significant hands-on knowledge and experience in the design,
development and debugging of Object Oriented software. The
candidate must possess strong hands-on system software design and
development skills using Java. Additionally, this in***bent must
work well in a team environment and possess strong commitment with
the ability to deliver high quality software. The candidate must
be able to analyze requirements, generate design do***ents and
produce code to be integrated with the NMS products.
The candidate for this position should have strong technical,
analytical, programming and testing skills and be capable of
handling multiple tasks with minimum supervision. Minimum
educational qualifications required for this position is a BS in
Computer Science or equivalent.
Skill set weight:
A: Object Oriented software development using Java
B: Distributed Object Oriented Architecture using CORBA
C: Telecom experience with SONET, SDH and DWDM technologies
D: Software development using UNIX/Solaris and Windows environment
E: Database access and development skills using Oracle and mySQL
F: Use of configuration management tools such as ClearCase and
problem re****ting and tracking tools such as DDTS.
G: Experience with various communication protocols such as TCP/IP,
OSI and TL1.

This position is responsible for system testing of Network Management
System and Network Design and Planning Tool. Responsibilities
include
development and maintenance of System Test Specifications,
development
and maintenance of automation framework components and APIs, automate
manual test cases using Javastar and other 3rd party software.
Execute
automated tests, analyze results, generate problem re****ts and
contribute in test re****t generation. Candidate is also responsible
for
providing automation sup****t to development groups.
Candidates for this job should have strong technical, analytical,
programming and testing skills and be capable of handing multiple
tasks
with minimum supervision.
