Control Systems Engineer Job Summary: Responsible for the development
(specification, design, implementation) of software for an embedded
real-time controller. The candidate should be a self starter who takes
initiative and has experience in this environment, preferably in controls
using CAN communication protocol.
Responsibilities:
* Establish overall control system level requirements
* Conduct system studies and performance analysis
* Coordinate system interfaces
* Lead control system software definition
* Lead system design reviews
* Generate component and system specifications
* Prepare system test plans
* Sup****t component and system testing
* Prepare technical re****ts and proposal material
* Prepare and present technical briefings
* Sup****t preparation of project plans, schedules, budgets, and proposals
Qualifications:
* BSEE/BSME required. MSEE/MSME preferred
* Experience and/or training in design, application, or maintenance of
product systems required
* Demonstrated experience in control system engineering and/or test
including experience with electronic control systems in real-time,
embedded software.
* Experience with a system development tool for simulation and software
code development. Examples include ETAS, ASCET, MatrixX, and/or Simulink.
* Ability to interface with customers on technical activities
