Embedded Software Engineer, Columbus, Indiana

delivering embedded control solutions to the automotive industry.
Job Summary
You will develop real time embedded control solutions for automotive
application (from engine controls to emissions treatment). You will
develop model based controls through simulation and implement the design
using auto-code generation. You will be able to verify and validate your
design through bench tests, hardware in-the-loop control tests, test cells
or vehicle testing.
Ability to design and model control systems with Matlab, Simulink, or
Stateflow
Conduct system testing (bench and test cells)
Understanding of embedded real time control systems
Knowledge of C
Understanding of basic embedded functions and architecture of
microprocessor based controls as well as analog and digital electronic
circuits.
Ability to work well in a team environment and cross-functionally.
Good communication skills as well as do***entation capabilities.
BS in EE, CE, or ME Definitely A Plus
MPC5xx experience
Automotive application and engine performance experience
Knowledge of version control software and other software configuration
management.
Experience with low level device drivers, software debugging, bench
testing, use of emulators and logic analyzers.
Experience with automotive vehicle networks, CAN communications and J1939
Experience in control analysis and real time embedded control systems.
Knowledge of embedded hardware design!
Job Location
Columbus, Indiana (located an hour away from Indianapolis, Indiana,
Cincinnati, Ohio, and Louisville, Kentucky)
