TW-999 Database Technical Trainer - Staff - San Francisco, CA

A leading developer of Transactional Data Management (TDM) solutions
is looking for an experienced trainer to deliver training programs to
new and existing customers, partners, and employees. You will also be
responsible for reviewing and creating new training materials.
The audience of these training programs will be senior DBAs that are
responsible for protecting their cor****ate data. You must be able to
teach with confidence and address database specific questions.
This is a full-time position based in the San Francisco financial
district.
50% travel is required.
Responsibilities
o. Approximately twice per month you will travel to customer and
provide on-site training. Training programs are usually conducted on
Tuesday - Thursday.
o. Approximately once per month you will provide new hire training at
the San Francisco training facility.
o. Produce training presentations, tutorials, instructor and student
guides, and practice labs.
o. Do***ent course abstracts, descriptions, and agendas.
o. Create a certification program for partners and system integrators.
o. Update existing training materials with information for each new
release.
o. Conduct peer reviews of materials produced by other team members.
o. Use the software to verify and validate that training
demonstrations and practice lessons are accurate.
o. Present new release training to internal technical services and
sales engineers.
Requirements
o. 5+ years experience as a software trainer (Required)
o. SOLID experience with Relational SQL databases (Oracle, DB2,
Sybase, SQL Server, Teradata) (Absolutely Required)
o. SOLID experience with multiple operating systems (Unix, Linux,
Windows) (Required)
o. The ability to travel 50% of the time (Required)
o. Oracle DBA certification is a major plus
