Sr. Accountant with Great Plains experience, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
The employer is a premier management consulting company focused on
Accounting, Finance and Information Technology with a specialization in
staffing and the deployment of hardware and software to the commercial and
government sectors. They are seeking a Sr. Staff Accountant with Great
Plains experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Obtaining bids for major purchases and selecting vendors
• Preparing, following up and closing purchase orders
• Reviewing and processing invoices for payments
• Maintaining spending balances
• Preparing month end closing
• Reviewing timesheets and processing timesheet summary for payments, as
well as compiling employee attendance calendars
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 1-2 years of related accounting experience – A/P, General
Ledger, and Fixed Assets applications
• Experience with Great Plains Required
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
• Bilingual (English-Spanish)
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, changing environment
• Able to communicate effectively both in verbally and in writing
