Lead .Net Developer Duties & Responsibilities 1. In close coordination
with the technical project management team, ensures complete and
comprehensive business and technical specifications are generated to
craft Applications and Websites. Allocates resources and time
necessary to meet deliverables and then deliver projects according to
schedule and budget. Suggests process improvements and automation to
gain time and cost efficiencies. 2. Leads in design to develop
applications that sup****t customization and database-driven content.
This includes the creation of Use Cases, UML diagrams, Process Flow
do***ents, etc. Leads in setting and do***enting design and
development methodologies and coding standards for all TUMSSD
developers. Sup****ts sales and marketing initiatives involving new
technical products and services. Develops presentations and web-based
demos, drafts technical components of responses to RFPs, and
periodically assists the sales team in off-site client presentations.
3. With expert knowledge, the Sr. Application Engineer designs and
develops web applications that sup****t customization and database-
driven content. Sup****ts new and on-going client Website projects.
Researches new programming techniques and technologies. Responsible
for the full cycle of development, maintenance, assisting in the
sup****t of TUMSSD applications. This includes interpreting and
authoring technical specifications, testing and do***entation of
applications. Ensures that industry best practices are employed in
application design and execution. 4. Monitors developed applications
following deployment of enhancements. Anticipates impact of changes/
additions on system to ensure quality of system. Sup****ts and
troubleshoots the environment by monitoring and analyzing system
performance using database and server log information. Do***ent
processes and recommend process improvements. Responds to suggestions
and problems as re****ted by users, system error re****ting and
monitoring. Gains full understanding of each issue, then do***ent,
investigate and resolve it, while involving appropriate parties and
providing status updates. Works with management to quantify and
communicate technical sup****t issues. Provides on-call sup****t for
production systems. 5. Applies advanced knowledge to unit testing for
all applications before turning over to account staff. Coordinates and
executes code review with junior developers. Coordinates testing with
test team. Provides thorough review of applications for adherence to
standards. Anticipates impact that system enhancements will have and
ensures proper testing is executed to prevent defects. Follows routine
procedures of maintaining and migration between Development, Test,
Staging, and Production environments. Creates and Implements process
improvements for web quality assurance and performs routine defect
tracking and change control. 6. Keeps technical management and account
team informed about progress, problems, and activities. Mentors IT
staff in adopting new tools and methodologies. Keeps peers informed
about changes, improvements, etc. that might affect them. Do***ent and
communicate system or framework enhancements and updates to facilitate
code reuse. Serves as system expert to all TUMSSD developers to
maintain and communicate shared components. Communicates to Technical
Team Lead, Technical Project Manager, or Management of appropriate
challenges and op****tunities. 7. Performs other related duties as
assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Engineering or equivalent experience. MCSD, MCAD, or equivalent
certification preferred.
