CANDIDATES. TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE iSERIES
(AS400) EXPERIENCE.
ANY MVS EXPERIENCE IS A HUGE PLUS.
Position Purpose:
Responsible for the proactive monitoring and primary level sup****t of the
centralized and distributed computer systems. Monitors and controls the
operating systems, on-line applications, batch application processing, and
all related hardware equipment.
Job Related Experience:
Typically requires three years of computer operations, or related
experience in one or more of the below functional areas.
Functional Area Skills/ Knowledge:
1. Technical knowledge of the hardware and software of IBM's zSeries
computers.
2. Proficient in the use of the major software products; MVS, JES,
TSO/ISPF, JCL, CA7 .
3. Technical knowledge of the hardware and software of IBM's iSeries
computers. Ability to identify and resolve problems.
4. LAN
Administration.
