Description: AS400 Programmer/Analysts roles
Required Experience:
Senior level AS400 Cobol Programming with AS400 SQL (UDB) and CL
background.
FTP and ODBC communication protocol knowledge.
Experience with RPG COBOL and mainframe are a plus.
Position will also require a good analytical skills, troubleshooting of
programs, testing and debugging of sup****ted programs and
relational database files and structures.
High Level Requirements
Responsible for detailed design and development of applications.
Experience in a Managed Healthcare Industry preferred.
Able to work independently or in a team environment as needed.
Ability to work in a fast paced production environment with occasional
extra hours as determined by team management.
Good communication skills and the ability to produce clear technical
do***entation
Ability to understand and comprehend business requirements and to offer
solutions to Sup****t the business needs.
Ability to assist with testing of sup****ted programs and to perform
analysis and troubleshooting as needed.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years programming and design and analysis on
the AS400 COBOL.
Familiar with the SDLC.
Education: Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or
Business Administration or equivalent experience.
