Description: We are currently searching for an AS400 Developer for our
client in the Quarkertown, PA area. Position is a full time position to
start as soon as possible.
In this key position you will work as part of a software development team
in the company’s Business Systems group developing custom applications and
modifying applications tied to our J.D. Edwards ERP system. Additionally,
you will work with internal customers to define technical specifications
based users functional requirements.
Responsibilities
Work with users and customers to determine project scope and define
specifications
Interface effectively with all levels and functional areas, such as
accounting, customer service, operations, supply chain and production
Efficiently manage multiple projects and communicate with customers and
management on project status
Develop custom applications and modify existing applications that are an
integral part of managing core aspects of company’s business
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years experience developing robust
applications that sup****t business processes and cor****ate projects
The ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic
environment
J. D. Edwards World experience RPG programming and related system
development tools experience
Experience working as part of a software development team
Exceptional organization and communication skills
The ability and interest in managing multiple projects and changing
priorities
