QA Test Analyst II
We are currently seeking a QA Test Analyst II. An ideal candidate will
perform advanced testing tasks requiring planning, scheduling, and
testing to assure that developed products meet design specifications
and are within total quality management limits and standards. Working
within a delivery team, the Quality Assurance Engineer communicates
with product developers and technical sup****t specialists to identify
and correct software bugs found in various products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for creation and
implementation of test plans, test cases and procedures for various
Group 1 products. 2. Executes software applications tests generating
test data and metrics, communicating test status and ultimately
analyzing test results. 3. Recording of defects in bug tracking
software (Siebel), including do***entation of information useful in
the debugging process, evaluation of test data, problem discovery,
tracking and resolution 4. Understand the market requirements for the
product features being tested, including how the users use the
features and their performance requirements for the features. 5.
Schedules tasks for self and meets agreed upon deadlines.
Qualifications Education/Experience:
* B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. * One
to four years of experience in development or software application
testing and/or computer programming experience. * One to five years
experience installing, executing, and testing software.
Required Skills:
* Good understanding of the QA process with good testing skills. *
Good application knowledge and use awareness. * Able to accurately
estimate task durations and meet schedules. * Good understanding of
full-life-cycle software development process * Good knowledge of
available test tools * Good industry knowledge * Excellent written and
verbal communication skills
