Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Description
Multi-functional position sup****ting the maintenance and continued
development of an ISO 9001:2000 registered and CMMI Maturity Level 3
Quality Management System (QMS). Specific tasks to include: planning
and conducting internal audits in accordance with established
guidelines; creating and maintaining quality do***ents (quality
manual, policies, processes, work instructions, forms, templates,
reference do***ents, and internal audit re****ts);posting quality
do***ents on the intranet website using an in-house software
application; creating and tracking corrective, preventive, and
improvement action requests to closure; potential hands-on
administration of processes during the initial deployment phase; other
duties as required to sup****t the continued growth of the QMS.
Required Skills # Minimum 2 years experience in related field
including conducting audits and developing do***entation # Strong
understanding of general/basic business practices # Internal
motivation with attention to detail and follow-through # Excellent
communicational skills both oral and written; strong technical writing
skills # Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with individuals
at all levels of an organization (auditing direct labor employees or
executive managers) # Ability to handle vague and changing
requirements and situations; strong problem solving skills # Ability
to examine details while still focusing on the "big picture" # Ability
to create forms using MS Word and Excel
