QA Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES: Our business has entered a new level of recognition
and is in immediate need for talented Quality Assurance engineers who
are capable of working in a highly technical environment. In
particular, we are looking for fulltime, experienced senior QA
engineers with experience bringing complex development projects
through rigorous testing processes to surface defects in a multi-tier,
Java-based web environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter
with experienced in writing test plans and test cases, developing
automated scripts, providing both black and white box testing, and end
to end functionality testing. This person will interact with our QA
Manager, Java Developers, System Administrators, Managers and
clients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of quality assurance experience. * Experienced in black and
white box testing for multi-tier, Java-based applications. * Hands-on
installation of O/S, web servers, databases and sup****ting software. *
First-hand knowledge of industry standard Quality Control processes
and procedures. * Strong writing and do***entation skills to capture
detailed test plan and test cases. * Ability to interface with java
development teams; works in highly technical environment. * Familiar
with various bug tracking, re****ting, and other industry standard QA
tools. * Solid analytical and problem solving skills with ability to
suggest solutions to defects. * Exhibits strong attention to detail to
ensure software functions according to client specs. * US Citizen****p
with a United States security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
NICE TO HAVE:
* Ability to write scripts using Shell, Perl, or Python to automate
parts of the test process. * Familiar with database applications and
ability to write SQL statements. * Software development experience
using Java, C++, or other language. * Bachelors in Computer Science or
Software Engineering.
